Easter

We did our Easter Egg hunt at Nana and Papa's with cousins.
And, of course, dying eggs, resurrection rolls, and hiding chocolate around the house on Easter morning.

Utah in Spring

When we went out to Utah for my sister's wedding in April, we stayed with our good friends A&M to relieve some of the congestion of having everyone stay at my sister's house. The first few days during the wedding, we were only there to crash into bed. The last few days of the week, though, we were able to spend some more time with them. A wanted to take us down to Payson where she and PC were both born. The hospital has been converted into city office buildings but it was still neat to see where they were born.
We also stopped at the Payson temple. Pretty cool that there is now a temple in the city PC was born.

Uncle M and C also met up with us for the rest of the day. We then headed to BYU for lunch at the Cougar Eat in the Wilkinson Center. We met up with my niece and her fiance for lunch too. M & C gave Tink a quick tour of BYU which has had her crazy to attend there when she graduates. She has always wanted to go there but I think actually visiting the campus has spurred her excitement even more.
We then went up the canyon for a little hike, but Rosie fell asleep so  C and I stayed with her in the car while she napped.
We finished off the day with a wonderful dinner and games while the kids watched a movie. A even took me over to pick up some signed copies of books I bought from her friend that wrote a series we love. I was so excited for that! We played a game called Really Bad Art while we were there during the week. It was so fun!

Ultramarathon

PC has been training all summer for a 50-mile ultramarathon. His race was September 30 up in Lakewood, CO. We had a busy morning with cross country races for Bucko and Minnie and a soccer game for Goofy, so we didn't make it up until the afternoon but we were tracking his progress all day online. His race consisted of four laps of 12.5 miles. We arrived to cheer him on right after he completed his third lap, so we settled in and got our posters ready to cheer him on at the end.

The kids were so excited when we spotted him. They each gave him high-fives as he ran by and then ran the rest of the way with him.

We are so proud of him! He finished just under ten hours. Can you imagine running for 10 hours!? When we arrived home, we found this awesome sign awaiting us.

CSI Camp

I'm really behind on posting and even have things I have missed. Goofy was able to attend a CSI camp this summer. They were put in groups and had to look at the evidence to help solve the crime. The scene was Willy Wonka's chocolate factory and someone had broken in and poisoned his dog with chocolate. They had to figure out who dunnit. He had a lot of fun.
