This year for the reunion we went to Farish. We rented the "barn," which is just a nice bunkhouse with tables, a fridge, and couches. All the grandkids slept there and it was nice to hang out in there and play games and hide from the bears. (The rangers came and told us there were bears right by where we were camping one evening, so we had everyone hang out in the barn for a while.) We rented paddleboats the first day.
It was nice to have the barn to hang out and relax in. The rangers saw a bear one afternoon nearby, so we gathered all the kids in the barn for a while so they wouldn't wander off and meet an unsuspecting friend.
PC and I made a cornhole set which was a hit. We really love it. The reunion was fun and it was nice to just hang out with family with not many activities planned.
