February Birthdays

February always brings lots of cake in our family!
Mine was low-key. Bucko and Minnie had a Best of Youth event. It was Minnie's first dance! I did her hair all pretty. They both had a good time. Minnie made me coffee cake to celebrate and we took the younger kids out to Red Robin for dinner. Yum!

 It snowed the day before, so I went out with the kids in the morning and tried to build a snowman.

Next was Shortcake's birthday. She really wanted to have a Valentines party with her friends.

Goofy also wanted to have his friends over. One of his friends also wanted to celebrate that day because they had a day off of school, so they went to his house in the morning, then came to our house for lunch and playing all afternoon.

 Bucko talked about having friends over to celebrate, but then it didn't happen. Another of his friends had a party on the night we had talked about having it, so it just ended up not happening. We celebrated at home though!

We also celebrated the February birthdays with a Coleman dinner. We had crockpot lasagna, and Nana made a strawberry bundt cake that was really good!

BYU

Tink is still having lots of fun at BYU. She and her roommates went up to South Jordan to spend the weekend at one of her roommates houses. Then another weekend they went up to see an old roommate give her farewell talk, as she was leaving on a mission. I'm glad she's having a good time and still doing well in school.

 I caught Rosie watching tv from the stairs landing. She just looked so sweet there.

And then one day, after going to Sam's Club and buying a new printer, she was playing in the box it came in and fell asleep in it! It was so cute!

 

 Shortcake likes to come up with "new" hairstyles, so then I have to take a picture to show her what it looks like from the back.

 And they really wanted to see what they would look like when they are older, so we downloaded a Face App to show them. Too funny! They make some pretty cute older ladies!
