Baptism

Goofy chose to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are so proud of him. It was nice to have family in town and one of his good friends was also baptized that day as well. There were a lot of friends from church there.

Since Tink woke up throwing up that morning as well, she and Shortcake stayed home. We also moved the luncheon to Nana and Papa's house. It was sad they had to miss it.

Promotion

 PC's brother, Uncle D, and family came into town for his promotion ceremony. It was fun seeing them for the weekend. We miss having them so close. Rosie snuggled right up to Uncle D when he picked her up. It was a nice ceremony and we went back to Nana and Papa's house afterwards. Unfortunately, Shortcake kept asking to go home, which I thought was really odd until she puked all over. Tink got it too and was sick all the next day.

Weekend

 Tink hiked up the Manitou Incline with some friends this weekend. She had a lot of fun and they got to the top in under an hour!

 I had fun with my sisters--shopping, playing at the park, taking pictures, and just talking. I sure wish they lived closer.

It's GREAT to be Eight!

Both Bucko and Goofy got to blow out candles twice this year because we wanted to celebrate with PC in the morning because he worked in the evening on both their birthdays. For Bucko, we had egg omelets, and for Goofy we made crepes.

My sisters both came in to visit, so they were able to celebrate with us as well. Goofy finally got the Minecraft diamond sword and pickaxe he's been asking for. He was so happy! He kept putting it in the picture when we were trying to take sister pictures too.

12 Years Old!

Can he really be 12?! He still loves Pokemon, so I made Pokemon cupcakes for him. He mostly got things for camping because he will be doing a lot of camping with the Boy Scouts.

3rd Birthday

This sweet girl turned 3! She still loves to dress up, as you can see from the Cinderella dress before she opened presents, and her new Elsa dress after she opened presents. Our good friends gave us the pony for her. She loves it! Her name is Minty. For some reason, Shortcake would not blow out the candles, so Rosie and PC had to help her.

Birthday

I had a great birthday. We went shopping and I bought myself a pair of jeans I felt good in and a nice shirt (it's the one in the picture above). Then we went out to eat at Red Robin. When we came home, there were some goodies and the sweetest letter from a friend left on the doorstep. It was so sweet and totally made my day!

Nana, Papa, and Johnny came over for cake. We had cheesecake with Oreo crumbs because I love it!

Bridal Shower

 One of my lovely young women is getting married next week. She was only home for a day or so at Christmas, but her best friend was able to sneak in a surprise bridal shower on January 2. It was so much fun being with some of the women I love.
