Right smack dab in the middle of spring break, Minnie was baptized. It was a beautiful ceremony. She looked so beautiful in her dress. This is the dress that Nana made for all her granddaughters to wear for their baptism, so it's the same one that Tink wore 4 years ago. We had a lot of family and friends attend, and we celebrated with a luncheon afterwards at our house. It was so nice. PC did a great job as always. We're so lucky to have him, and so proud of Minnie for making this choice to be a member of Jesus Christ's church.

Spring Break
We decided to stay home for spring break this year. We were able to get a lot of things done around the house, and we still did some fun things as a family too. PC took a week and a half off of work, so that was really nice. We went bowling with Nana, Johnny, and cousins one day. We tried to hike in Black Forrest, but the trails we went to were all closed due to the fires last year. We got a flat tire, so PC spent the whole time putting on the spare and we hung out on the tennis courts. We had brought balls, Frisbee, and snacks, so we still had a nice time.
Bucko had Pinewood Derby during the break as well. His is the Captain America one. He didn't win, but had a lot of fun. He came in second in a couple of races, so he was still pretty pleased.
And what would spring break in Colorado be without snow? Oh, but not just any snow. . . we actually got wet snow! We were able to make a snowman! We kept singing "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" from Frozen the whole time!
And Baby Girl thought throwing snowballs was the funniest thing! She was laughing so hard and was SO happy I finally took her out in it even though she could barely move!

Minnie Turns 8!
Minnie really wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese's for her birthday this year. Her birthday actually fell on a Saturday, so it worked out perfectly. We let her invite just a few of her closest friends, and we all had a good time. My friend/neighbor made her a "Frozen" cake with Olaf on top. She loved it! I love the look on her face when she saw it for the first time!
She did such a great job with the cake! It was so nice not to have to worry about one! I did forget to take the ice cream to Chuck E. Cheese's, but it was ok. The kids just ate it later.
Here are some more fun pictures of them playing:
Minnie received some very nice presents too. She really had a nice day.

Tink's Band Concert
Last month, Tink had her winter band concert. They have the band split into two classes and then they only get to practice all together maybe twice before the concert. Tink is first chair in her class, so she and the first chair in the other class got to do a duet for the concert. Tink did so well. I was so proud of her. I'm so glad I have been able to instill a love of music in my children. It seems to come naturally for them as well. My camera always takes horrible pictures at the school, but this is the best one.
